This report is part of a series of follow-up studies about the
State of the Art report published in January 2019 , and about reviewing the debate, studies, and policies arising from platform work in the following countries: France, Germany, Italy, Poland, and Spain. It brings country level information up to date as of February 2022, illustrating contextual information and recent developments around platform work. Being of greater detail, country updates describe the political, social, and academic debate surrounding platform work; the results of recent research studies; relevant legislation and policy reforms; and social partners’ response to platform work. This was done using the same questionnaire and instructions for the different countries covered by the partnership.
