We prepare trainings on digital and green transformation (twin transition)

On Monday 18 December, a seminar entitled "Past experience for the future" was held to launch a new project of the Institute of Public Affairs entitled "EWC MENTOR: EWC Mentors' Effective Networking and Training Cooperation Reinforcement".

Its aim was to present key findings from IPA's research to date on the functioning of European Works Councils (EWCs) - with a particular focus on the perspective of Central and Eastern European countries, and to establish a project partnership. The main content of the project will be the training of EWC members in the context of the challenges of the twin transition in the metal sector and the revision of the EWC Directive. The project also assumes creation of a chatbot to answer questions related to EWCs. On the IPA side, Maciej Pańków and Dominik Owczarek participated in the meeting. The project leader is the Federation of Metalworkers' and Steelworkers' Trade Unions in Poland and the project is co-financed by the European Commission's DG Employment.
