Social policy

Inequalities are one of the greatest challenges facing Poland, Europe and the world today.

They manifest themselves in extreme income and wealth disparities, social exclusion or various forms of discrimination (based on gender, age, disability, nationality, trade union activity, etc.). The IPA provides evidence for public policies (evidence-based policies) that counteract these negative trends, in line with the idea of sustainable development and the social market economy. In a democratic state, social inclusion and solidarity are constitutive values.
We conduct research and provide recommendations on the most important and recent public policies in Poland and Europe. At present, the key context is the digitalisation policy and the European Green Deal (including just transition), leading to the so-called twin transition. We support social partners and civil society actors in developing solutions and social dialogue.
