PASOS, a network of think tanks from Central and Eastern Europe, has just approved the following PASOS statement on Belarus, calling for greater engagement with Belarus civil society - following the arrests and beatings of opposition figures and civil society actors in the past two days: "PASOS calls for the EU to actively consult with Belarusian civil society on future engagement of Belarus in Eastern Partnership initiative, and to launch intensive policy dialogue with civil society human rights defenders and independent think-tanks in Belarus".
