In this report I discuss the results of a quantitative study carried out between August 12 to September 19, 2024 among Ukrainian women who came to Poland after February 22, 2024. Considering that the project was implemented two and a half years after the outbreak of the full-scale war, I assumed that the basic physiological and safety needs have already been met, as well as partly the material ones. On the other hand, the initial hope for a quick end of hostilities and returning home, unfortunately, turned out to be illusory. Therefore, the assumed temporary nature of the refugee situation slowly turned into everyday life experience. The purpose of the study was to determine how Ukrainian women spend their free time in Poland (treating it as a mechanism of adaptation in a new place of stay) and if they participate in the broadly understood culture. I was also curious whether these practices were different from how they used to spend time in Ukraine. What obstacles and challenges do they face? What is missing in the current offer?
