Polish society is one of the fastest ageing societies in the European Union that has rapidly growing old-age dependency ratios. In these circumstances, the inclusion and retention of older as well as disabled persons in the labour market becomes a challenge of increasing importance, necessitating the adaptation of work to the needs of these groups.
