IRSmart - Industrial Relations for Smart-Workers in Smart Cities


The aim of the project is to analyse the conditions of telework and other forms of work using new remote communication technologies (ICT). In particular, the subject of interest will be the change in working conditions in these groups that occurred in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic. An important element of the project will also be the analysis of the impact of the dynamic development of telework on the functioning of smart cities. The study will cover the following countries: France, Spain, Poland, Romania and Italy.

•    Smart working, Covid-19 and industrial relations: the regulatory perspective
•    Smart working and the organisation of labour: smart working and internal labour markets
•    Smart working and smart cities: a perspective on sustainability at the light of social dialogue
•    Integration of knowledge and results to improve the industrial relations

Project duration: September 2021 — August 2023
