The project monitors the transformation of the automotive industry into a green mobility industry and a climate-neutral mobility system in selected automotive regions of the Visegrad countries (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia). The research institutes involved in the project collect and analyse data and document ongoing, relevant changes in the regulatory environment, in particular policies at EU, national and regional level. The main objective of the EcoMobility Transition project is to support, prepare and strengthen regional stakeholders, in particular social partners, in their participation in decision-making processes, in the creation of equitable mobility policies, and to increase their potential influence on the transition path of the automotive regions in the Visegrad countries towards a socially equitable green transition, including lower CO2 emissions.
