Enforcement of labour standards in construction and international maritime transport - Newsletter in the SPLIN project


From the latest newsletter (No. 2) of the international  SPLIN project you will learn about the recent activities carried out by the Institute of Public Affairs, FORBA (Austria), NOTUS (Spain) and the University of Jyväskyla (Finland), which focus on strategic and innovative initiatives undertaken by social partners and labour inspections to better enforce quality labour standards.


You can find there:
-    main theses of recently published research reports for Austria, Spain and Poland on agreements in the construction sector 
-    main theses of the report on the enforcement of standards by transnational trade unions in international maritime transport prepared by the Finnish partner
-    information on the next steps in our partnership.

The SPLIN project is carried out in close cooperation with the associated partners of the project, the Bauarbeiter-Urlaubs- und Abfertigungskasse (BUAK, Austria), the trade union BUDOWLANI (Poland) and Fundacion Laboral de la Construcción des Principado de Asturias (Spain).
