On 24 January 2023, the online Kick-off Meeting of the "BLER 2.0: Strengthen board level participation" project was held.
The event saw the participation of representatives of IPA who, together with partners from Bulgaria, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Serbia and Turkey, discussed the objectives, working methodology and activities to be implemented for the next 2 years.
In particular, during the event the fundamental objective of the project was specified which is to discuss and study the issue of employee representation at board level (BLER) in 6 EU countries: Bulgaria, Poland, Slovakia , Slovenia, Spain and in two candidate countries Serbia and Turkey. In order to achieve the best possible results, both employer and employee representatives attended to discuss the potential benefits and barriers to the BLER."
