The discussion on platform work is gaining momentum in Europe. Analysts of the Institute of Public Affairs together with other partners in the international project Don’t GIG up! developed a number of national reports and a set of recommendations addressed to regulators and social partners, indicating the direction of actions that should be taken to regulate platform work and provide social protection in this group.
The results of two-years project were presented at the conference in Rome (January 21) at the headquarters of the Consiglio Nazionale dell’Economia e del Lavoro. The Polish context and recommendations were presented by Dominik Owczarek (oznaczyć), while the role of labor inspection was presented by Barbara Surdykowska (oznaczyć) ("Solidarność"). The Polish delegation also included: Sławomir Adamczyk ("Solidarność") and Małgorzata Koziarek (ISP).
