Social protection system and labour market flexibility
Project coordinator: Kamila Hernik
The aim of this project is to collect and analyse statistical data on the scale of atypical forms of employment in Poland. In particular the dynamics of their growth and the prognosis for the near future will be researched. The project also aims to answer the following question: given the general strategy of labour market formation and the conditions of work, as well as the particular legal regulations in this area, in which direction should Poland head? In 2005 expert analyses (five domestic and one foreign) on the changes in labour and social security laws (and their mutual compatibility/incompatibility) were prepared. These studies will be published and presented at a conference disseminating the research results (September 2005).
