Europejskie dylematy: formy dyskryminacji instytucjonalnej, politycznej i społecznej
Projekt realizowany w 8 krajach UE ma za zadanie zdiagnozowanie sytuacji społecznej i ekonomicznej imigrantów w Polsce po wstapieniu do Unii Europejskiej oraz porównanie jej z innymi panstwami. Projekt ma sie przyczynic do wypracowania bardziej efektywnej polityki zwalczania dyskryminacji rasowej i ksenofobii. W styczniu miała miejsce prezentacja dotychczasowych rezultatów projektu przedstawicielom Komisji Europejskiej. W trakcie seminarium w Warszawie zaprezentowano raport na temat sytuacji migrantów na polskim rynku pracy i w edukacji. Ukonczono równieB kolejne raporty dotyczace dyskursu publicznego i politycznego dotyczacego migracji w Polsce.

The idea of Polish Integration Forum is to initiate a dialog platform in the field of integration by organising series of seminars and meetings in which experts and experienced persons from Poland and EU participate. The aim of the project is to create a regular discussion forum, an exchange of thoughts and information, as well as to work out the recommendations concerning the integration of third country nationals policy. Forum gathers the scientists and the representatives of the institutions engaged in the process of immigrants’ integration. Within the framework of the project there will be organized a course of six seminar meetings, during which problems concerning the integration of third country nationals will be diagnosed. The topics of analyses and meetings within the Forum will include the following themes: access and integration of third country nationals on the labour market, the integration of immigrant workers’ families, educating immigrants’ children, integration in local communities, participation of immigrants in public sphere/access to citizens’ rights, discrimination, access to health service, etc. In conclusion we will prepare a publication consisting of analyses and presentations from seminars and also detailed recommendations directed to Polish institutions.
