Discussion „Germany, Poland and the Obama-Administration", Berlin
On the day of the inauguration of Barack Obama, the Institute of Public Affairs, in cooperation with the German Marshall Fund of the US, organised in Berlin a debate on the future of the transatlantic relations from the Polish, German and American perspective. The speakers included dr Jacek Kucharczyk, IPA Research Director and author of The new transatlantic agenda - a view from Poland, Jan Techau from German Council on Foreign Relations and co-editor of Transatlantic Relations 2009. European Expectations for the Post-Bush Era as well as Jeffrey D. Rathke from the Embassy of the United States in Berlin.
